It does help, but make sure you don't 'see-saw' file or you'll just break them and they wont be strong
go from left to middle, right to middle %26amp; so on when filing
use hand and nail creams to help to grow strong, and nail strengtheners

You want strong nails you need a moisturiser with Vitamin E in it. Or take cod liver oil to make them stronger.
