Try about 2 years, it took that long for my big toe!!!

I understand it grows about an eighth of an inch a month.
Not sure about toe nails but I lost my thumb nail and it seemed like it took a few months before it was fully grown back. It's all deformed lookin too. Since toe nails are shorter, I'm assuming that the growing process won't be as long. If you are a chick, try taking prenatal pills because that helps the process go faster, along with your hair too.
