Does you hair and nails grow at the same time?

for example the amount that you nails grow is that the amount and exact speed that your hair grow?Does you hair and nails grow at the same time?
Each hair grows about 录 inch (about 6 millimeters) every month and keeps on growing for up to 6 years. The hair then falls out and another grows in its place. The length of a person's hair depends on the length of the growing phase of the follicle. Follicles are active for 2 to 6 years; they rest for about 3 months after that. A person becomes bald if the scalp follicles become inactive and no longer produce new hair. Thick hair grows out of large follicles; narrow follicles produce thin hair.

Nails, like hair, grow from the matrix. As older cells grow out, they are replaced by newer ones, they are compacted and take on a hardened form. The average growth rate for nails is 0.1 mm each day; individual rates depend on age, time of year, activity level, and heredity. Fingernails grow faster than toenails. Nails also grow more rapidly in the summer than in the winter. Nails on a person's dominant hand (right vs. left) grow faster, and men's nails grow more quickly than women's, except possibly during pregnancy and old age. Nail growth is affected by disease, hormone imbalance, and the aging process.

I know that there is ALOT of extra information but I found this on the internet and I thought it mite help. (the answer is NO.)
