Does doing the dishes cause nails to grow weak?

No..ur nails grow normally but they become weak because of soap, water and constant scratching!!!Does doing the dishes cause nails to grow weak?
Not really, unless your job is washing dishes and you have your hands in soapy water all day. The nail will be weak while they are wet. It will dry your hands and nails out though so moisturize after doing dishes.Does doing the dishes cause nails to grow weak?
Keeping your fingers in water for a pro longed time will cause them to become weak, because nails are made out of the same stuff your hair is.But once they dry they will harden again.
It feels like it does for me

If you have food/ dirt under your nails, then you wash dishes.. the area with food/ dirt turns the white part of your nails clear
Not sure.. well it will make them go soft and wash away natural oils..

its better to wear latex or rubber gloves when doing the dishes
No, but scratching your butt leads to nails to grow weak.
Yes, the constant soap and water on them can soften them down.
it can if you keep them wet alot. a way to counteract it would be to get more calcium or where gloves
Yes water may be a cause of it
iT AGES UR HANDS %26amp;%26amp; TAKES THE WHiTE PAiNT OFF THE END OF UR NAiLS. :[

USE GlOVES. :]
no but it does make them more easier to break when you are washing
